Louis R. Reyes is the founder of Blue Icon and is a leader in utilizing new media strategies with traditional methods of organizing, community outreach and communications. He has extensive experience collaborating with community leaders and various local, state and federal elected officials in the greater Los Angeles area. He specializes in political, nonprofit and professional services clientele.

Louis leads all aspects of Blue Icon's executive management, business development and project management as well as provides consulting services on new media strategy, online communications and marketing to businesses and political campaigns. His experience with online communications began in 1997

using email listserves and web based  communications methods to organize a statewide network of students while in college.

His first job at technology company was as a business development consultant with an Internet company while completing his undergraduate at USC, which focused on website development and email marketing services.

A community organizer at heart, he continued to use his technology skills to build organizations and establish strong communication networks.

In 2008, he worked as a field organizer for Obama for America in the battleground state of New Mexico as well as Los Angeles. He used his extensive knowledge and skills with Internet technology to organize Latino communities through the Presidential campaign's progressive social media campaign tools.

After working on the Presidential campaign, he worked on various campaigns as a New Media consultant using multiple technology platforms in website, social media, paid ad marketing, direct email marketing and rapid response media blogging to outreach to voters and provide 24/7 communications.

Recently in 2010, he served as the Director of New Media for John Noguez for Los Angeles County Assessor campaign, using a combination of social media with traditional field campaign methods to  increase the visiblitiy of the candidate to all voters in L.A. county. The Noguez campaign was the top vote getter in a crowded field of 12 in the primary election and won the election by garnering 60% of the vote in the general election.

A graduate of University Southern California, Louis has a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management.
